About the role
- Administration and the operationalization of BASF’s Contract of Affreightment (COA) for parcel tanker shipments
- Management of day-to-day activities, periodical KPI measurements and reviews
- Driving the optimization of bulk parcel services for BASF and related entities
- Leading, managing, and supervising shipbrokers in their daily activities
- Maintain close contact with all the business units to understand their business, markets, needs
- Ensure adherence to and compliance with all Distribution Safety Codes of bulk cargoes
Requirements
- A degree/professional qualification (e.g., ICS/CILT), BS or BA degree in business management, supply chain management or equivalent
- Minimum of 5 years working experience in Parcel tanker operations covering fixture, post fixture and demurrage computation
- Possesses excellent communication management skills (written and spoken), analytically inclined
- Experience in Supply Chain processes as well as ability to report and work with remote managers and teams
