About the role

  • Designing and evolving the mobile app experience at Baselane
  • Maintaining the Design System along with other designers and evolving it for mobile use-cases
  • Working with PMs to understand/define problem statements
  • Creating elegant design solutions that account for different user scenarios as well as business & tech considerations
  • Validating designs with users, and getting alignment with internal stakeholders
  • Working with the dev team to help translate the design to code accurately
  • Helping evolve the long-term vision for the mobile app and overall product by collaborating with the rest of the team

Requirements

  • 4+ years of native mobile design experience, of which at least 2+ years at a technology startup
  • Demonstrated experience with end-to-end product design, including user research, wireframing, prototyping, visual design, interaction design, and usability testing
  • Experience owning product design from start to finish, working with developers and PMs
  • Extraordinary visual design skills, with a solid understanding of mobile UX/UI principles and platform-specific considerations
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, able to persuade stakeholders
  • Mastery of Figma
