About the role
- Identify and develop automation and integration opportunities in collaboration with Commercial and account teams.
- Engage early with customers to uncover operational needs and translate them into clear opportunity framing.
- Define scope, assumptions, and delivery expectations that align customer priorities with technical feasibility.
- Shape proposals that strengthen BW Packaging’s position as a trusted partner in automation and integration.
- Represent BW Packaging in customer meetings, presentations, and strategic planning discussions.
- Collaborate with estimating, controls, and project teams to validate scope and ensure commercial accuracy.
- Coordinate with regional sales and account leaders to align priorities, share insights, and streamline opportunity progression.
- Surface trends and feedback from assigned region to inform global strategy and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in business development, technical sales, or applications engineering within packaging, automation, or capital equipment sectors.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to align customer priorities with BW Packaging’s technical and delivery capabilities.
- Proven ability to shape opportunities and coordinate across functions to align technical and commercial objectives.
- Skilled in customer engagement, proposal framing, and opportunity qualification.
- Exceptional communication, organization, and relationship building abilities.
- Flexibility to take on evolving responsibilities in response to strategic priorities and business needs.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred with a technical or engineering background helpful
