About the role
- Explore and evaluate new business opportunities, including partnerships, channel expansions, and market-entry strategies, to accelerate the growth of the Hispanic snacks portfolio.
- Analyze market trends and customer insights to identify growth opportunities in the Hispanic market.
- Lead strategic initiatives to expand distribution, enhance customer relationships, and secure new revenue streams in key channels (branded, private label, and co-manufacturing).
- Connect and build a strategic distributors network to penetrate Monarca’s portfolio Hispanic Retail and Independent stores across the USA.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to refine product positioning, price-pack, and promotional strategies to meet the needs of Hispanic consumers and customers.
- Lead the execution initiatives, transforming our Go To Market strategy to revamp the short and mid-term results of the Hispanic snacks portfolio in the Hispanic channel.
- Own the P&L accountability for the Hispanic key business unit, being the steward and driving financial performance and efficiency of the key initiatives’ implementation.
- Manage budgets and ensure the achievement of revenue and profitability goals of the Hispanic Business Unit.
- Collaborate with Marketing to create culturally relevant campaigns that resonate with the Hispanic audience.
- Expand distribution channels and strengthen brand positioning in Hispanic markets.
- Work closely with Sales, Marketing, R&D, and Operations Teams to ensure seamless execution of key initiatives and delivery of business key initiatives.
- Act as key liaison between internal teams and key customers and distributors, fostering a collaborative approach to driving growth.
- Establish KPIs for the strategic growth initiatives implementation, track progress, and provide regular updates to the Business Unit Leader and Leadership Team.
- Prepare and deliver data-driven recommendations for strategic adjustments as needed to meet business goals.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in business development, sales and leadership roles, preferably within the CPG, food and snacks market or related industries.
- Strong track record of driving growth in a Multicultural or Hispanic-focused market.
- Deep understanding of Hispanic market and channels dynamics in the USA.
- Proven experience connecting with Hispanic distributors.
- Proven experience transforming the Go To Market and market execution, expanding brands presence in Hispanic retailers and independent Hispanic stores across the USA.
- Exceptional strategic thinking, problem-solving, entrepreneurial mindset and execution skills.
- Track record of transformation of executable initiatives.
- Proven ability to identifying market opportunities and turn them in actionable plans.
- Proven track record of driving growth and managing P&L in a multicultural environment.
- Excellent relationship-building, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred.
