• Fully remote, overnight position supporting the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to produce daily news clips and analysis reports for senior leadership and agency stakeholders.
• Monitor traditional, broadcast, and social media platforms to identify relevant news coverage impacting DHS and its mission space.
• Analyze and summarize media content, linking related storylines and identifying tone, themes, and key developments.
• Deliver a high-quality news report each weekday, on schedule and with minimal errors.
• Use a suite of research tools and media monitoring platforms (training provided) to collect, evaluate, and structure media data.
• Assess trends in media narratives and provide succinct takeaways and actionable recommendations.
