About the role
- Identify and analyze public policy and legislative issues impacting Medicaid programs
- Coordinate organizational responses and maintain relationships with Arizona state government officials
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather input on policy positions and ensure alignment with organizational priorities
- Develop action plans and timelines for policy initiatives and track progress against established objectives
- Represent the organization on various public policy and legislative issues in the community
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, public policy, political science, journalism, or related field
- 7 years of related experience in government affairs, public policy, or legislative relations
- Knowledge of Arizona state government, legislative processes, and Medicaid/managed care regulatory frameworks
- Experience with healthcare policy, particularly Medicaid programs
