About the role
- Direct the origination, underwriting, and management of CRE loans in alignment with the bank’s lending strategy.
- Lead and support the production activities of other originators within your assigned market.
- Originate, review, and underwrite CRE transactions of varying complexity.
- Develop and strengthen relationships with developers, housing authorities, consultants, syndicators, and service providers.
- Monitor the performance of the active loan portfolio according to bank and regulatory guidelines.
- Oversee credit files to ensure timely and accurate financial documentation, including tax returns, statements, and leasing information.
- Represent Banner Bank as a subject matter expert in CRE initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, security requirements, and regulatory obligations.
Requirements
- You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Economics, Law, Computer Science, or a related field (Required).
- You bring 8 or more years of experience in Residential Construction or Home Builder Finance lending (Required).
- You have 6 or more years of supervisory or management experience leading a project, process, or team (Required).
