About the role
- Develop and maintain complex SAS queries to extract, transform and manipulate data from various sources including Teradata, ReportNet, Oracle, etc.
- Create clear and concise reports to communicate findings and actionable insights using SAS
- Leverage advanced SAS coding expertise to conduct in-depth data analysis, interpret results and identify key trends and opportunities
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to understand business needs and create innovative analytical solutions that drive strategic decision-making.
Requirements
- 4+ years demonstrating strong proficiency in utilizing data mining/analytics/reporting through SAS Enterprise Guide/SQL
- Experienced with the bank’s data structure including Hadoop, SQL Server, Teradata, and Oracle
- Highly motivated, proactive and a self-starter; strong sense of ownership & ability to create and execute plans without daily oversight
- Detailed oriented
- Analytical skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
- Exceptional organizational, project management, and communication skills (verbal & written)
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field (desired)
