- This role requires proven ability to lead complex programs, manage risk, and foster innovation while ensuring operational excellence.
- Builds and manages teams by performing financial activities to inform workforce strategy and hiring practices, setting and tracking maturity and quality objectives, and training employees/teams to address feedback and achieve quality and performance objectives.
- Facilitates performance and career development of employees/teams through performance reviews, coaching, and creating development plans that are needed to build competencies and skills.
- Manages solution delivery and application performance in production, ensuring all relevant risk, financial, and compliance policies are met.
- Contributes to the technology strategy for their technical domain.
Requirements
- Over a decade of executive experience leading large-scale data platform strategies across Hadoop, Teradata and distributed computing systems.
- Proven leadership in enterprise data architecture, driving scalability, reliability, and modernization of complex analytics platforms.
- Oversight of security and identity integration, including large-scale AD/Kerberos implementations to strengthen enterprise data governance.
- Experience in cluster optimization and performance engineering, ensuring efficient resource management and operational excellence.
- Broad technical leadership spanning infrastructure, data engineering, automation, and modern development practices.
- Strong champion of DevOps, automation, and continuous delivery, advancing engineering efficiency through tools like Ansible, Jenkins, and Bitbucket.
- Track record of building high-performing engineering teams, uplifting standards for monitoring, alerting, and operational resilience.
