About the role

  • Responsible for architecture, design, and implementation of Strategic Data Initiatives
  • Works across the business, operations, and technology to create solution intent and architectural vision
  • Contributes to creating the architecture roadmap of defined domains
  • Facilitates solution-driven discussions and leads complex architectures
  • Educates team members on technology practices and best practices

Requirements

  • 8+ years of technical architecture and solutions experience including 5+ years in a combination of relevant Big Data, Analytics, and AI/ML areas
  • 6+ years of hands-on experience in software development and/or data engineering
  • Extensive Experience in Platform Architecture, Solution Design, Development and Deployment
  • Deep platform level understanding and 5+ years’ experience with Big Data technologies including Hadoop, Impala, HIVE, Spark, and NoSQL
  • Prior experience with Analytics and Machine Learning tools and technologies
  • Hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining software frameworks using Kafka, Spark, Hadoop/MR, Spark Streaming, Python, etc.
  • MS in Computer Science or related field
