About the role
- Define an architectural vision and solution that supports the strategic outcomes of the Business' Products and Services
- Define the target operating environment
- Design for client resiliency
- Assist with solution design
- Define non-functional requirements
- Work with stakeholders and service providers aligned to the Business' strategic objectives
- Evaluate the impact of strategic design decisions
- Contribute to the architecture roadmap
- Create the solution intent and architectural vision for complex solutions
- Prioritize functional and non-functional requirements into a technology backlog
- Contribute to the architecture roadmap of defined domains
- Clarify the architecture
- Assist with system design to support implementation
- Provide solution options to resolve any architectural impediments
- Facilitate solution driven discussions
- Lead the design of complex architectures
- Educate team members on the technology practices
- Support the team in selecting the technology stack required for solutions
- Perform design and code reviews to ensure non-functional requirements are met.
Requirements
- 5+ years of applicable experience
- Proven experience architecting and designing solutions for large-scale, complex technology portfolios, ideally within audit, risk, or compliance domains
- Deep expertise in modern architecture patterns (microservices, event-driven, cloud-native), AI/ML integration, and risk management
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with a track record of influencing cross-functional teams and driving innovation
- Technical leadership and exposure across a broad scale of tools, technologies, and architecture models
- Experience with Agile delivery, DevOps practices, and rapid prototyping
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Commitment to quality, security, and continuous improvement.
