About the role

  • Maintain a holistic view across P&O initiatives to support prioritization and informed decision-making.
  • Ensure initiatives are clearly defined, appropriately scoped, and aligned to leadership priorities and organizational readiness.
  • Translate transformation goals into clear, executable plans that account for operational realities and change capacity.
  • Balance long-term strategic objectives with near-term execution requirements, adjusting plans as conditions evolve.
  • Lead project management of key Transformation initiatives, including scope definition, planning, execution tracking, risk management, effective informing, and milestone delivery.
  • Design and build dashboards and materials that are purpose-built to enable informed, timely decision-making and action.
  • Reduce reliance on manual efforts by embedding automation and digitization into how work is planned, monitored , and assessed.
  • Lead and coordinate workstreams, facilitate working sessions, and ensure alignment with transformation objectives and enterprise priorities.
  • Partner with initiative owners to drive accountability, ensuring work progresses on time, within scope, and aligned to intended outcomes.
  • Evaluate progress and implement mechanisms to keep initiatives on track, including operating reviews, governance routines, and progress reporting.
  • Drive strategic transformation ambitions into concrete actions and measurable success criteria.
  • Proactively anticipate execution risks, constraints, and downstream impacts that could affect delivery, adoption, or experience and develop mitigation strategies to resolve potential disruption.
  • Deliver strategic execution for a portfolio of complex, multi-phase initiatives with material impact to associates, leaders, and business outcomes.
  • Drive accountability of results across various teams and provide visibility to leaders.
  • Establish execution frameworks, decision pathways, and operating rhythms that support consistent delivery.
  • Design scalable processes, tools, and workflows that support execution with minimal administrative burden.
  • Monitor and evaluate initiative health using leading indicators and outcome-focused measures, rather than activity-based reporting.
  • Implement timely adjustments as needed to maintain momentum, experience, and quality.
  • Design initiatives to work today with scalability in mind, ensuring solutions do not require rework as scope expands.
  • Capture lessons learned from initiative delivery to inform future planning and execution.
  • Partner closely with P&O heads, senior leaders, Centers of Expertise, and Business Units to align expectations, roles, and accountability.
  • Balance multiple perspectives simultaneously, including Associate experience, operational realities, and leadership expectations.
  • Act as a strategic thought partner by synthesizing complex inputs into clear insights and recommendations.
  • Influence outcomes through judgment, credibility, and alignment rather than formal authority.
  • Support deployment planning, including change readiness, stakeholder alignment, communications, and adoption activities.
  • Ensure initiatives are implemented with strong change management principles focused on experience, clarity and sustainability.
  • Collaborate with P&O Business Partners to ensure consistent execution across teams and business units.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degrees in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • 12+ years of increasing leadership experience in project management, HR transformation, business transformation, consulting, or a related role.
  • Preferred: healthcare delivery background (veterinary or human healthcare)
  • Preferred: SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP
  • Demonstrated ability to drive cross-functional initiatives and hold teams accountable to deadlines and deliverables.
  • Strong project management skills, including planning, organizing, and managing multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and drive alignment across diverse teams.
  • Experience working in complex, fast-paced environments with high levels of ambiguity.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to navigate and manage change with empathy and confidence.
