About the role
- Develop and Maintain Reusable Components (Pipefy Catalog): Create and catalog reusable modules, templates, and flows in Pipefy.
- Implement architecture patterns, ensuring automations follow the model defined by the CoE (microservices, event-driven, APIs).
- Serve as a Pipefy expert, resolving complex designs and optimizing workflows for high performance.
- Develop and configure critical integrations between Pipefy and legacy systems (core banking, foreign exchange, credit).
- Ensure code quality of reusable components through unit tests, TDD/BDD, and CI/CD practices.
- Provide technical support to Automation Cells (RPA, AI) in integrating with Pipefy flows.
- Monitor performance of reusable components and apply optimizations to meet SLAs.
- Support implementation of the CoE governance, ensuring automation policies are technically feasible.
- Design and implement security solutions (authentication, authorization) for automation components.
- Participate in defining the automation technology roadmap (Pipefy, RPA, AI) for the next three years.
- Keep the component catalog and technical documentation (runbooks) up to date and accessible.
- Apply DevOps and observability practices (logging, metrics) within automation flows.
- Create and maintain architecture documentation (ADRs - Architecture Decision Records) for all critical decisions.
- Lead proofs of concept (PoCs) for new automation technologies (RPA, AI) and present results to the CoE.
- Perform data modeling and information architecture required for automation flows.
- Technical project leadership: act as a technical reference, guiding squads and development teams.
- Focus on time-to-market: actively seek reusable solutions to reduce automation delivery time.
- Executive communication: present reuse reports and performance KPIs to CoE management.
- Promote a culture of reuse and technical excellence through workshops and pair programming.
- Act as the link between Pipefy Cells and the Corporate Architecture team, ensuring alignment of standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience with Pipefy (workflow development, automations, and integrations).
- Strong knowledge of automation/RPA (UiPath, Automation Anywhere, or other market tools).
- Experience with programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript) for building integrations/APIs.
- Experience in API design (RESTful, gRPC) and microservices.
- Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases (NoSQL, Redis).
- Proficiency in CI/CD practices and version control tools (GitLab/GitHub/Azure DevOps).
- Experience with DevOps and infrastructure as code (IaC).
- Knowledge of IT governance and process frameworks (ITIL, COBIT).
- Proficiency in monitoring and observability methods (SLAs, SLOs, SRE, logs/metrics/tracing).
- Knowledge of cybersecurity applied to automations (OAuth, JWT, WAF).
- Knowledge of container orchestration (Kubernetes/EKS).
- Experience with design patterns, antipatterns, SOLID principles, and clean code.
- Experience with DevSecOps and automation of security testing.
- Knowledge of software quality (unit tests, integration and functional tests, TDD/BDD).
- Reuse and scalability mindset: ability to design modular, reusable solutions from the outset.
- Experience in technical leadership and mentoring cross-functional teams (squads).
- Excellent communication skills: ability to translate business requirements to technical language and vice versa.
- Results and payback focus: clear understanding of how technical effort contributes to time-to-market (TTM) and ROI.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields.
