About the role
- Work closely with assigned teams to support the business development needs of various practice groups and industries.
- Assist with the execution of key conferences, events, and sponsorships.
- Assist with experience capture, updates, and audits.
- Preparation of pitches, proposals, responses to Requests for Qualifications/Proposals (RFQ/RFP), and similar procurement requests:
- o Read, review, analyze, and interpret requirements and objectives of solicitations and other documents
- o Prepare RFQ/RFP responses and complete required forms, including maintaining proposal milestone schedules such as issue and review dates, kickoff meetings, planning sessions, drafting and review, and delivery dates ensuring (i) full understanding of business requirements and strategy; (ii) a smooth production process; (iii) an intelligent, professional, accurate and compelling final product; and (iv) timely delivery of the finished product..
- o Conduct and gather market, competitor, and target intelligence as necessary to improve responsiveness of pitch materials and RFQ/RFP responses.
- o Create and maintain proposal and practice group materials that are well-written, accurate, and responsive.
- o Manage proposal close-out process, including archiving and coding final documents, opportunity tracking log updates, content and experience database updates, and coordinating relevant bio updates with the website team.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in a relevant area with a minimum of two years of experience in a professional services setting is required.
- Previous experience working in a law firm or legal environment is a plus.
- Excellent writing, editing, and communication (oral and written).
- Analytical skills and strong computer proficiency a must.
- Must be incredibly service-minded with a penchant for processes and problem-solving, and can work independently and maintain a focus on priorities while meeting strict deadlines.
- Collaborative, consultative, and inclusive working style is paramount.
- Strong sense of urgency and an eye for detail are required.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
- Regular and predictable attendance is a core requirement of this position and the ability to work beyond the standard scheduled hours, as needed.
