About the role
- Be a trusted advisor to real estate owners, users and investors by providing expertise related to real estate in complex situations where financial analyses and market know-how and knowledge are mission critical
- Advisor to users, owners and investors of institutional real estate
- Core services include transactional advisory and valuation for mergers, restructurings, acquisitions and divestitures related to large portfolios of real estate and real estate related businesses
- Manage client engagement staffing, billings/collections, and ensure client profitability targets are met
- Utilize your entrepreneurial skills to network and build strong relationships internally and externally with the goal of acquiring new clients, projects, and revenue
- Invest in your professional development individually and through participation in firm wide learning and development programs
- Support the growth and development of team members through the Baker Tilly Care and Teach philosophy, helping associates meet their professional goals
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Masters preferred
- MAI designation preferred, certified appraisal licenses preferred
- FINRA License 63 (Uniform Securities Agent State Law Examination)
- FINRA License 79 (Investment Banking Representative)
- certified general appraisal licenses in over 25 states
- 5-8 years’ experience providing real estate appraisal and consulting services
- experience in a professional services firm a plus
- Five (5)+ years’ of supervisory experience, mentoring and counseling associates
- Demonstrated management, analytical, organization, interpersonal, project management, communication skills
- Ability to lead and supervise others, provide exceptional client service
- Demonstrate commitment to continuous learning in order to stay current regarding applicable strategies
- Display appropriate ethical knowledge and commitment
- Exhibit a sense of urgency and commitment to quality and the timely completion of projects.
