About the role
- Monitor real-time data, incident management, and data quality assurance.
- Provide Tier 3 technical support for infrastructure, applications, networks, databases, and real-time data systems.
- Deploy, configure, and maintain applications across physical servers, virtual machines, and containerized platforms.
- Lead resolution of complex production issues via troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and incident management.
- Administer system integrations involving APIs, middleware, and monitoring solutions.
- Implement and maintain real-time dashboards and collaboration tools to support remote operations.
- Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Product, Sales, Development, clients, and vendors to ensure service delivery.
- Support environment migration initiatives and adhere to security and compliance standards.
- Oversee small-scale projects or technical workstreams (tenders/POCs), including planning and quality assurance.
- Generate technical reports and documentation for system design, procedures, and incidents; facilitate training sessions.
- Perform regular field visits to remote areas for system troubleshooting and connect/troubleshoot network issues at field sites.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science (Energy knowledge is a plus).
- 2+ years’ experience in IT systems, infrastructure, and application support.
- Knowledge of databases (relational and non-relational).
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Be a good team player and display good communication skills.
- Knowledge of networking, APIs (SOAP/REST), and cloud platforms (nice to have).
- Clear understanding and knowledge of WITSML protocols (nice to have).
- Capable in writing scripts that aid for automation (nice to have).
- Knowledge in OpenShift and containerization (nice to have).
- Background in real-time data transmission and monitoring systems (nice to have).
- CCNP Certification (nice to have).
- Willingness to work 12-hour shifts and 24/7 support; regular field visits to remote areas and client/vendor sites.
