About the role
- Prepare proposals/bids, contract negotiation and compliance with contract commitments and commercial risk assessment
- Lead the development of business plans for a specific product or product line
- Ensure all Stage and Decision Gate deliverables are met
- Engage and align all stakeholders to build a winning strategy for proposals or bids
- Document, evaluate, and mitigate project risks through use of Risk Management Process and tools
- Draft initial Project Plan and all parts thereof, including Risk Management Plan, Communications Plan, Sourcing Plan, Vendor Management Plan, early Schedule, Quality Plan, Stakeholder Matrix, Project RACI, Organizational Structure, and Cost Model
- Evaluate and source competitive contracts and/or alliances for all key subcontracted parties or vendors
- Provide leadership for negotiations with customers, contracted parties, vendors, and other relevant parties
- Perform contract handover during Project Mobilization stage to Project Manager and support teams
Requirements
- Have a bachelor's degree in engineering, commercial or scientific discipline
- Have 12+ years of relevant oil & gas operator or service company experience
- Have 5+ years’ experience in integrated projects
- Have 5+ years’ experience of managing and leading employees
- Have global (preferred) experience in delivering proposals in varying and complex commercial and contractual models
- Have strong understanding of Upstream business environment, including technical and logistical elements
- Have good knowledge of Well Engineering, Well Construction, Rigs, equipment packages and technical solutions
- Have excellent leadership, strong interpersonal, influencing, analytical, decision making and planning skills
- Have demonstrated ability to work in a global matrix organization
- Promotes a culture of collaboration and teamwork across multiple Product Companies, functions, geographies, external parties
- Have significant knowledge of business plans, Project Planning, Project Management Methodology and Proposal/bid creation
- Have experience in contract management, both with customer, and subcontracted parties
- Have capability to influence at all levels, executive communication, and presentation skills.
