About the role
- Provide Contractual & Commercial leadership within a multi discipline Subsea project
- Take responsibility for the contractual and financial delivery of the project in accordance with the execution plan
- Act as the primary authority for Contractual matters
- Manage all contractual related aspects, including commercial arrangements, variations, amendments, adherence and reporting
- Establish and maintain compliance with specific Contract requirements
- Provide leadership, advice, and guidance to senior management on specific contractual matters
- Ensure commercial risks are identified and managed across the scopes of work by controlling the overall project profile and opportunity review
- Oversee contractual engagement for key subcontracts and major purchases
- Drive the commercial performance of awarded projects
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or relevant legal, commercial, energy related degree
- Substantial contract management experience in an energy, resources or capital construction environments
- Proven track record in contributing to the improvement of project profitability, cash flow and control of commercial risk
- Full understanding and working knowledge of key legal risk areas and obligations for major projects
- Commercially, financially and contractually aware with good communication, inter-personal skills
- Proven capability of working in a matrix environment and leading by influence
- Willing to work at a detailed level
