About the role

  • Lead the global merchandising strategy for Dearfoams across markets.
  • Drive commercial success, ensuring consumer relevance, and delivering a compelling customer experience across all franchise formats.
  • Align global brand direction with market needs and lead cross-functional collaboration.
  • Build a high-performing merchandising team.
  • Support Chief Merchandising Officer on strategic and long-range brand planning initiatives.
  • Execute brand initiatives set by Chief Merchandising Officer for growth in existing and new categories.
  • Manage product creation and lifecycle.
  • Identify go-to-market strategies with marketing team for consumer product stories and launch plans.
  • Ensure alignment of cross-functional teams on key initiatives and timelines.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 10+ years of experience in Merchandising or related field.
  • Footwear experience required, including understanding of footwear construction and manufacturing processes.
  • Demonstrated achievement of sales, margin, and inventory productivity targets across franchise or multi-market environments.
  • Proven ability to execute market calendars and milestone deliverables on time.
  • Strong track record of franchise partner satisfaction and seasonal assortment adoption.
  • Proven success leading, developing, and retaining high-performing teams.
  • Strategic mindset with strong analytical capabilities and financial acumen.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a dynamic business environment.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Excellent written, verbal, visual, and presentation skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Experience leveraging Microsoft Suite and Artificial Intelligence tools.
  • Strong problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.

  • Ability to travel as necessary (expected travel 10–15%).
