About the role
- Lead the global merchandising strategy for Dearfoams across markets.
- Drive commercial success, ensuring consumer relevance, and delivering a compelling customer experience across all franchise formats.
- Align global brand direction with market needs and lead cross-functional collaboration.
- Build a high-performing merchandising team.
- Support Chief Merchandising Officer on strategic and long-range brand planning initiatives.
- Execute brand initiatives set by Chief Merchandising Officer for growth in existing and new categories.
- Manage product creation and lifecycle.
- Identify go-to-market strategies with marketing team for consumer product stories and launch plans.
- Ensure alignment of cross-functional teams on key initiatives and timelines.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 10+ years of experience in Merchandising or related field.
- Footwear experience required, including understanding of footwear construction and manufacturing processes.
- Demonstrated achievement of sales, margin, and inventory productivity targets across franchise or multi-market environments.
- Proven ability to execute market calendars and milestone deliverables on time.
- Strong track record of franchise partner satisfaction and seasonal assortment adoption.
- Proven success leading, developing, and retaining high-performing teams.
- Strategic mindset with strong analytical capabilities and financial acumen.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a dynamic business environment.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.
- Excellent written, verbal, visual, and presentation skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Experience leveraging Microsoft Suite and Artificial Intelligence tools.
- Strong problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.

- Ability to travel as necessary (expected travel 10–15%).
