About the role

  • Provide leadership, strategic oversight, and operational discipline to deliver complex rail frameworks and projects safely, efficiently, and profitably
  • Lead and develop a multidisciplinary project management team to deliver frameworks and contracts safely and efficiently
  • Oversee programme-level planning, including resource allocation, risk management, and change control
  • Maintain strong client relationships and drive continuous improvement
  • Ensure compliance with all SQE, legal, and accreditation requirements
  • Provide programme-level reporting across commercial, financial, and delivery performance

Requirements

  • Extensive managerial experience at a senior level within a rail project delivery environment
  • Strong knowledge of processes, operational and associated safety matters
  • Member of a relevant professional body (e.g., Association for Project Management) with chartered status and/or degree-level education
