About the role
- Lead and develop a team of Team Coaches, Specialists and Engineers delivering Legionella safety across the Clyde estate.
- Oversee all Legionella management activities within your allocated area (e.g., Faslane or Coulport).
- Collaborate with cross‑functional departments to implement and enhance the Asset Management Strategy.
- Ensure work is effectively programmed to prevent asset failure and maintain operational readiness.
- Provide coaching, guidance and support to ensure business objectives and customer expectations are met.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in Legionella management.
- Knowledge of engineering standards, including SFG20 for Planned Preventive Maintenance.
- Understanding of asset management practices and standards such as ISO 55001.
- Experience working with Safe Systems of Work and relevant Health, Safety & Environment legislation.
- Strong stakeholder and relationship management skills across multiple organisations (e.g., Royal Navy, Royal Marines, MOD, Babcock).
- Relevant engineering or water safety qualifications (as per Legionella management requirements).
- Security Clearance: The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) clearance for this role.
