About the role

  • Independently lead day-to-day operations of assigned patient access and affordability programs. Ensure that all program operations are running smoothly and in accordance with program business rules and all safety, legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead execution of affordability strategies in alignment with brand strategic imperatives and financial goals
  • Manage the implementation and ongoing operations of co-pay, PAP, and cash programs finding opportunities for program enhancements and optimization.
  • Manage assigned vendor relationships: Anticipate and address program challenges as the vendor account manager. Work closely with vendor to track and meet or exceed all program KPIs
  • Ensure that accurate and timely reporting of key data. Develop, distribute, and present summary reports to key colleagues on a regular basis.
  • Lead regular business reviews in partnership with to present trends in the program.
  • Manage resolution of customer issues
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales to ensure pull through of Patient Affordability solutions
  • Keep abreast of ever-changing market dynamics and industry trends for pharmacy and medical benefit products to evolve co-pay programs and other patient affordability solutions as needed.

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree
  • 5+ years of experience designing and executing patient affordability programs within pharmaceutical manufacturing with an emphasis on PAP, copay, and cash programs.
  • Ability to prioritize and complete high volume and velocity of workload and projects.
  • Demonstrated depth with reimbursement support services and hubs
  • Familiarity with buy and bill process
  • Anticipate and address challenges to ensure smooth operations of patient access and affordability services
  • Ability to work cross-functionally as needed to achieve desired results
  • Ability to solve problems quickly and efficiently in a collaborative manner
  • Working knowledge of the compliance and regulatory environment for manufacturers in the pharmaceutical space
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
