Responsible for selling the full consumables and instrumentation portfolio into sample management and biobanking facilities, as well as the broader life sciences market.
Develop and execute an effective business growth plan aligned with SMS strategic initiatives and sales funnel management best practices, with a focus on growth opportunities.
Attain annual sales targets within the assigned territory by developing, maintaining and expanding customer accounts.
Deliver on annual and quarterly sales objectives, supported by the CRM system (Salesforce).
Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activity.
Identify new business opportunities and market trends to drive growth.
Follow up on e-commerce and inbound leads and work to convert them into sales opportunities.
Represent Azenta at customer-facing events such as seminars and conferences as a brand ambassador.
Support regional distributor partners by building relationships and assisting in customer meetings, events and training when required.
Participate in and support exhibitions.
Requirements
Minimum of a BSc in a life science discipline such as Molecular Biology, Microbiology, Biological Sciences, Biochemistry, Medical Science or a related field.
Proven sales experience in the life sciences market, ideally with consumables; experience in sample management is preferred.
Ability to demonstrate instrumentation and explain sample workflow solutions.
Experience working to targets and managing time effectively to achieve company goals.
Determined, self-motivated and enthusiastic, with the ability to communicate technical information clearly.
Strong awareness of the laboratory marketplace, including monitoring competitor activity and market trends.
Fluent in German and English (B2 level or above).
