About the role
- Coordinate with on-site leadership to anticipate customer needs
- Perform project task(s) to best of ability as assigned by on-site leadership
- Perform or facilitate the creation of client specific SOPs, Project Definitions and other customer documents
- Sample receipt and QC, coordinating and triaging shipments to appropriate departments/vendors, sample shipment receipt verification by either paper form or database (chain of custody is critical to ensure sample integrity)
- Freezer defrosting and cleaning, destruction of samples as permitted, and return of samples back into inventory
- Ability and willingness to work with LN2 (after appropriate training is received)
Requirements
- Associates degree and/or Bachelor's Degree in Life Sciences/Sciences field (Biology, Chemistry, Biotechnology, etc.) is highly preferred
- 2-3 years of experience with handing (receipt, storage, and destruction) preclinical and clinical samples
