About the role

  • Drive growth by selling Azenta’s consumables and instrumentation portfolio to sample management, biobanking, and the broader life sciences market.
  • Develop and execute an effective business growth plan aligned with SMS strategic initiatives.
  • Achieve annual sales goals within the assigned territory.
  • Deliver annual and quarterly sales targets with regular reporting supported via the CRM tool, Salesforce.
  • Demonstrate expertise in Azenta’s Consumables and Instrument portfolio.
  • Report on pipeline and sales activities on a monthly basis.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities.
  • Identify new business opportunities and market trends to drive growth.
  • Follow up on e-commerce and inbound leads.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a BSc in a Life Science subject such as: Molecular Biology, Microbiology, Biological Sciences, Biochemistry or Medical Science, or related fields.
  • Hands-on sales experience in the life sciences market, ideally in consumables sales.
  • Knowledge and experience in sample management is preferred.
  • Competent in demonstrating instrumentation and explaining sample workflow solutions.
  • Proven ability to work to targets and manage time effectively to meet company objectives.
  • Determined, self-motivated, and enthusiastic individual.
  • Maintain excellent awareness of the laboratory marketplace, including monitoring competitor activity and market trends.
  • Fluent in German and English (B2 level or above).
