About the role

  • Support federal capture activities, including opportunity research, tracking, and pipeline organization
  • Review SAM.gov and other procurement platforms for relevant opportunities, sources sought notices, RFIs, and RFPs
  • Coordinate and draft responses to sources sought notices, RFIs, and other pre-solicitation requests
  • Help develop and maintain capture materials, including capability statements, past performance summaries, resumes, project sheets, and compliance matrices
  • Assist in analyzing solicitations and identifying submission requirements, deadlines, and key compliance items
  • Coordinate internal proposal schedules, content collection, reviews, and final production for RFP responses
  • Support development of proposal sections such as cover letters, executive summaries, corporate experience, key personnel, and management approaches
  • Track amendments, Q&A, submission instructions, and required forms for active pursuits
  • Maintain proposal files, content libraries, and templates to improve efficiency and consistency
  • Collaborate with leadership, technical staff, and external partners/subconsultants to gather inputs and keep pursuits moving
  • Help improve internal federal pursuit processes over time

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in one or more of the following: federal capture support, proposal coordination, business development support, government contracting, or professional services marketing/proposals
  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills
  • Strong organizational and project coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
  • Ability to read and interpret government notices and solicitation instructions
  • High attention to detail and ability to work accurately under deadline pressure
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to communicate professionally with internal teams and external partners
  • Self-starter mindset with willingness to learn federal procurement and proposal processes
