About the role

  • Lead a high-velocity, audience-based sales team responsible for driving multi-market, regional revenue growth across the markets that Axios serves.
  • Build a disciplined, package-first sales culture that drives multi-product adoption, increases ACV, and sales velocity.
  • Develop hunters who sell audience solutions at scale.

Requirements

  • 10+ years’ experience in sales, specifically in the digital media industry
  • Experience leading distributed, high-velocity sales teams at scale
  • Has multi-market sales experience and knows how regional budgets differ from single-market budgets
  • Experience in consultative selling and can reframe clients around funnel gaps.
  • In-depth knowledge of digital media, online marketing technology, and Axios’ competitive landscape
  • Strong CRM discipline and forecasting rigor
  • Suggest AI workflows to improve revenue generation and Client Partner effectiveness
  • Willingness to travel and attend social events and engagements during evening hours
  • Ability to oversee all aspects of daily operations for a team of client partners, including hiring, training, coaching and development, and performance management.
  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills and the willingness to proactively partner with Vertical Expertise, Axios Brand Studio and events teams
