Advise clinical and operational leaders on legal, regulatory, and compliance issues affecting patient care, hospital operations, and medical staff matters.
Provide guidance on and review of agreements and operational arrangements involving clinical services, physician engagement, vendors, and strategic initiatives.
Partner with risk, compliance, and quality teams to support initiatives related to patient safety, quality of care, and regulatory compliance.
Support the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure consistent, compliant, and efficient clinical operations.
Requirements
Licensed to practice law and in good standing in Texas; strong knowledge of healthcare law and regulations.
Minimum 6+ years of strong healthcare, hospital, or clinical operations legal practice.
Demonstrated experience in clinical risk management, medical staff matters, and regulatory compliance (e.g. HIPAA, Stark Law, CMS rule).
Strong contract management and negotiation skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple teams.
