About the role
- Strategic management and development of a defined customer portfolio
- Ensure high customer satisfaction and long-term retention (including NPS)
- Expand existing customer business through targeted service and revenue development
- Commercial responsibility for contracts, renewals, and expansions
- Manage and resolve escalations in close collaboration with Service Delivery
- Conduct regular business and service reviews
- Ensure accurate CRM and billing data and timely invoicing
- Coordinate and follow up on escalations until final resolution
- Contract management including negotiation, renewal, and amendments
- Support customer and service onboarding
- Close collaboration with Sales, PreSales, and Service Delivery
Requirements
- Several years of experience in account management or IT sales (MSP environment)
- Strong technical understanding (IT infrastructure, cloud, managed services)
- Ability to identify customer needs and proactively implement service extensions
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills at decision‑maker level
- Business‑fluent German and English, spoken and written
- Structured, independent, and solution‑oriented working style
- Confident handling of escalations and complex customer requirements
