About the role
- Proactively contacting prospects and existing customers by phone across the DACH region, with a particular focus on public administration
- Running campaigns to assess needs and invite prospects to presentations without sales pressure
- Handling inquiries from existing customers, preparing quotes and supporting them through to the decision
- Identifying market trends and business opportunities in collaboration with field sales and team leadership
- Maintaining customer data, call notes and quotes in the CRM system (MS-Sales)
- Close collaboration with inside and field sales and actively helping to shape telephony processes
Requirements
- Commercial training, ideally with an IT focus, or an equivalent qualification
- Experience in inside sales or telephone-based customer support, especially in an IT environment or with complex technical topics
- Confident use of MS365 tools (Outlook, Teams, Excel, SharePoint) and ideally experience with CRM systems such as MS-Sales
- Enjoyment of active telephone outreach (inbound & outbound) and the ability to address technical staff and executives professionally and appropriately for the audience
- Interest in modern IT applications and willingness to learn product details
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, customer orientation, independent and structured working style, high motivation and determination
