About the role

  • Develop and execute verification plans for Processor units, ensuring all requirements and specifications are met.
  • Design and implement constrained random testbenches for processor core.
  • Collaborate with architecture, RTL design, and compiler teams to ensure thorough verification coverage.
  • Perform functional, performance, and stress testing on processor units.
  • Develop and maintain test scripts and automation tools.
  • Identify and debug issues, providing detailed documentation and reports.
  • Drive the development and maintenance of processor verification methodologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure verification milestones are achieved.

Requirements

  • A degree in electronics engineering, electrical engineering or computer science or other relevant discipline.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in ASIC or FPGA verification, with a strong focus on processor verification especially using instruction set simulators.
  • Proficiency in SystemVerilog and C/C++ or Python for designing and implementing testbenches, and test cases for processor verification.
  • Understanding of verification flow for creating verification plans and coverage metrics.
  • Demonstrated ability to work closely with processor architecture, RTL design, software and compiler teams to ensure comprehensive verification coverage.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, shell or Tcl for automation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
