Application Engineer

• Lead, mentor, and eventually grow the Americas FAE team to deliver exceptional technical support and customer satisfaction.
• Set priorities, allocate resources, and ensure alignment with commercial goals in the Americas region.
• Develop team skills in AI deployment, embedded systems, and SDK support through coaching and collaboration with global peers.
• Build scalable support and knowledge-sharing processes for consistent customer engagement.
• Oversee all technical aspects of customer engagements in the Americas — from pre-sales to post-production.

• Lead the design and implementation of hardware and software security for our next-generation AI processors
• Architect and implement a fully secure hardware/software infrastructure for Axelera AI’s processors and platform
• Define and document security features such as secure boot, trusted execution environments, key management
• Ensure protection of sensitive assets (AI models, parameters, user data) and balance security with DFT/testability requirements
• Design and manage end-to-end security provisioning, including secure key and credential management
• Define, plan, and lead certification efforts (e.g., Common Criteria, FIPS, PSA Certified, ISO/SAE 21434)
• Collaborate with software and hardware teams to integrate secure boot, encryption, and authentication mechanisms

Hardware Security Architect

Full-stack Engineer

• Research, design, and evaluate CPU microarchitectural components (pipelines, fetch/decode, branch prediction, caches, memory hierarchy, OoO/rename/issue, interconnects, SIMD/vector/matrix units). Analyze and optimize PPA trade-offs for AI, HPC, and cloud workloads.
• Build and validate performance/functional models, run simulations, and correlate results to RTL to guide architectural decisions.
• Develop and evaluate architectural extensions within RISC-V; assess their performance, programmability, and toolchain compatibility.
• Propose, model, and prototype new mechanisms to improve efficiency, scalability, and performance.
• Work closely with hardware, compiler, and system teams to align roadmaps and enable new capabilities. Stay ahead of trends in CPU, memory, interconnect, and AI-adjacent architectures.

Procurement

• Develop and execute procurement strategies for semiconductor components, PCBs, systems, and supporting materials
• Manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure optimal cost, quality, and delivery performance
