About the role

  • Identify, target, and secure new customer accounts across the coil coatings value chain
  • Build and execute strategic business development plans
  • Convert new opportunities into sustainable business
  • Develop and maintain senior-level relationships
  • Function as the primary commercial contact for assigned accounts
  • Partner with customers to understand needs
  • Lead customer engagement activities
  • Advise customers on product selection and performance testing
  • Own the full sales cycle, including opportunity tracking and forecasting

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in Business Development role
  • Coil Coatings experience preferred
  • Coatings Industry experience required
  • Several years’ Business to Business Sales experience
  • Experience handling very large accounts
  • Strong value-selling and technical credibility
  • Deep market insight
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Proficient in Salesforce.com, Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
