About the role
- Identify, target, and secure new customer accounts across the coil coatings value chain
- Build and execute strategic business development plans
- Convert new opportunities into sustainable business
- Develop and maintain senior-level relationships
- Function as the primary commercial contact for assigned accounts
- Partner with customers to understand needs
- Lead customer engagement activities
- Advise customers on product selection and performance testing
- Own the full sales cycle, including opportunity tracking and forecasting
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in Business Development role
- Coil Coatings experience preferred
- Coatings Industry experience required
- Several years’ Business to Business Sales experience
- Experience handling very large accounts
- Strong value-selling and technical credibility
- Deep market insight
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Proficient in Salesforce.com, Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
