About the role
- Act as an intermediary for the location’s Senior/Director of Operations
- Ensure restaurants are clean, staffed, and operating to high standards
- Responsible for scheduling managers within the zone during all hours of operations
- Provide consistent support to restaurant staff to achieve business goals
- Make hiring, termination, advancement, and promotion decisions for associates within the zone
- Ensure compliance with all company training and processes
- Collaborate with the DO/Sr. DO about issues, decisions, and strategy
- Manage the day-to-day activities of associates within a zone
- Resolve customer and associate questions and problems
- Maintain an in-depth understanding of federal, state, and local sanitary, safety, and health standards
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience managing restaurants (QSR, Casual Dine, Full Service, similar complexity)
- Overall responsibility for success and failure of those restaurants for multiple annual cycles
- Graduation from a Food Service Management or Culinary program may substitute for time-based experience
- Demonstrates team management, delegation and issue resolution skills
- Ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence and policy documents
