About the role

  • Act as an intermediary for the location’s Senior/Director of Operations
  • Ensure restaurants are clean, staffed, and operating to high standards
  • Responsible for scheduling managers within the zone during all hours of operations
  • Provide consistent support to restaurant staff to achieve business goals
  • Make hiring, termination, advancement, and promotion decisions for associates within the zone
  • Ensure compliance with all company training and processes
  • Collaborate with the DO/Sr. DO about issues, decisions, and strategy
  • Manage the day-to-day activities of associates within a zone
  • Resolve customer and associate questions and problems
  • Maintain an in-depth understanding of federal, state, and local sanitary, safety, and health standards

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience managing restaurants (QSR, Casual Dine, Full Service, similar complexity)
  • Overall responsibility for success and failure of those restaurants for multiple annual cycles
  • Graduation from a Food Service Management or Culinary program may substitute for time-based experience
  • Demonstrates team management, delegation and issue resolution skills
  • Ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence and policy documents
