About the role

  • Supervises stock associates during assigned shifts to ensure proper execution of receiving, stocking, and inventory management procedures
  • Coordinates incoming freight operations including receiving, counting, and processing merchandise deliveries
  • Assigns work tasks and priorities to stock team members based on operational needs
  • Manages stock replenishment activities to maintain adequate sales floor inventory levels
  • Oversees organization and processing of merchandise returns, damaged goods, and outdated products for vendor credits
  • Utilizes inventory management systems to track stock levels, process orders, and maintain accurate records
  • Collaborates with management on stock performance metrics, staffing needs, and operational improvements

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in stock operations, inventory management, or warehouse operations
  • 1 year of experience supervising stock or warehouse operations teams preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field can count for 1 of the 3-year requirement
  • Knowledge of inventory management systems and stock handling procedures
  • Understanding of safety regulations and asset protection protocols in retail/warehouse environments
