About the role
- Responsible for accounting for the Northern Germany company cluster
- Responsible for legal and statutory reporting
- Manage and lead your team
- Lead or participate in projects related to the finance department
- Work in close collaboration with other departments across the organization
- Serve as the link between Avia Pharma Group and the local accounting team
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in finance/accounting
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting
- Strong professional knowledge of accounting and tax regulations
- Extensive experience with accounting systems and Excel (the Northern Germany company cluster currently uses Sage)
- Experience leading people and a passion for coaching and developing team members
- Very good German and fluent spoken and written English
- Interest in lean operations and process optimization
