About the role
- Identify, evaluate, and help discover new business opportunities within the traffic & safety, work zone, and vehicle safety market segments.
- Develop relationships with an existing account base.
- Act as the primary contact for key distribution and manufacturing partners.
- Establish and grow strategic partnerships that are critical in meeting our sales initiatives.
- Actively prospect for new accounts and projects, including establishing reflective sheeting specifications at the government agency level.
- Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline to meet or exceed growth targets.
- Provide ongoing analysis of market trends, competitive products, and pricing strategies.
- Partner closely with internal teams including sales, technical services, product management, and marketing to ensure the execution of established strategic initiatives.
- Develop a deep understanding of our products and services, their technical specifications, and their unique value propositions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree required.
- 2+ years of business development, sales, product management, or related experience in the manufacturing industry.
- Must have permanent US work authorization.
- Experience in the Traffic & Safety reflective sheeting markets preferred.
- A proven track record of meeting sales objectives and establishing new business growth.
- Previous use and knowledge of CRM tools is a plus.
- A strategic thinker who looks beyond immediate sales.
- Experience in negotiating complex transactions with upper-level management.
- Results-oriented with a relentless focus on achieving goals.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and teamwork skills.
- Approximately 60% travel required.
