About the role

  • Design and implement scalable product operating frameworks
  • Standardise roadmap planning, prioritisation, delivery tracking and post-launch optimisation
  • Build repeatable launch and adoption playbooks
  • Own and optimise the product tech stack (roadmapping, analytics, feedback and collaboration tools)
  • Establish consistent product metrics frameworks and capacity planning processes
  • Implement rigorous, repeatable delivery processes that ensure predictability and quality
  • Define clear lifecycle frameworks from discovery to launch and optimisation
  • Embed metrics-driven decision-making across velocity, cycle time, predictability and quality
  • Establish quality gates, release criteria and product governance processes
  • Ensure compliance, audit readiness and regulatory controls are embedded into workflows
  • Build comprehensive product analytics capability
  • Establish dashboards covering performance, usage and business outcomes
  • Create structured customer feedback loops (NPS, CSAT, feature requests, usage data)
  • Enable experimentation frameworks and data-led prioritisation
  • Act as the operational hub across product, engineering, commercial, customer success and leadership
  • Establish clear cadences for planning, reviews and releases
  • Coordinate cross-product dependencies and portfolio resource allocation
  • Align product roadmaps with go-to-market plans and company strategy
  • Enable PMs and POs through training, coaching and best-in-class tooling
  • Establish product competency models and career frameworks
  • Create onboarding and knowledge management systems
  • Identify bottlenecks and drive continuous improvement
  • Embed structured customer discovery and feedback rhythms
  • Ensure customer voice is central to prioritisation
  • Build health monitoring systems for adoption, satisfaction and retention
  • Integrate FCA and regulatory requirements into every stage of product development
  • Establish documentation, audit trails and regulatory change processes
  • Facilitate quarterly and annual roadmap planning
  • Implement prioritisation frameworks balancing customer value, commercial impact and regulatory requirements
  • Introduce OKRs or cascading goal frameworks
  • Provide visibility into roadmap delivery and execution against commitments

Requirements

  • 10+ years in product roles, including hands-on product management
  • 5+ years in product operations, product leadership or programme management
  • Proven experience scaling product teams (e.g. 5–10 to 20+ people)
  • Strong background in RegTech, WealthTech or financial services technology
  • Experience working within FCA-regulated environments
  • Experience with AI/ML or agent-based products highly desirable
