About the role
- Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on hotel systems, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and mechanical equipment.
- Respond promptly to guest and staff maintenance requests, ensuring timely resolutions.
- Conduct preventative maintenance programs to reduce downtime and maintain property standards.
- Troubleshoot and repair guest room issues, including lighting, fixtures, and furniture.
- Maintain accurate records of work orders, inspections, and repairs.
- Assist with property improvements, renovations, and special projects as assigned.
- Ensure safety compliance with local building codes, health and safety regulations, and company policies.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and front desk teams to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Monitor inventory of tools, parts, and supplies, reporting any needs to management.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment at all times.
- Must be able to respond quickly in emergency situations.
Requirements
- 2+ years of maintenance or engineering experience in hospitality, commercial, or residential properties preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and general maintenance practices.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Strong communication skills and a guest-first approach.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays when needed.
- Must reside in the United States.
