About the role

  • Responsible for configuring, monitoring, and optimizing Avantor’s GCC/regulated SAP environments.
  • Work closely with the SAP Basis team, developers, and application teams to support multi-billion-dollar business applications.
  • Prevent service disruption while enabling fast growth of the company.
  • Cross train and support various SAP products, ancillary systems, databases, and related technologies.
  • Contribute to strategic SAP projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent education/experience.
  • 5+ years’ experience in SAP Basis administration in S/4HANA or ECC 6.0.
  • Familiarity with Solman 7.2 and several other NetWeaver 7.5+ applications with ABAP/Java stacks such as BW, PI, CRM, SCM, EWM, GRC, SAP Gateway, BODS, C4C, FSM, and Web Dispatcher.
  • Experience in database administration, implementation and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with Linux/Windows OS and HANA, ASE and/or MaxDB databases.
  • Experience with Solution Manager 7.2, cloud solutions, and HANA Cockpit is highly desired.
  • Ability to debug and understand basic programming.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products.
