About the role

  • Own the design direction for GenAI-enabled experiences across one or more enterprise web-app products/workstreams
  • Shape business process innovation with AI by translating ambiguous problem spaces into prototypes, experiments, and shipped increments
  • Lead discovery and evaluative testing for one or more AI experiences and turn insights into clear, actionable design decisions
  • Define success metrics with Product and iterate using qualitative and quantitative signals
  • Design for trust and transparency, building UX guardrails and governance into the experience through collaboration with Legal/Compliance, InfoSec, and domain experts
  • Evolve the global design system with AI-ready components and patterns
  • Manage and mentor designers, strengthening product thinking, interaction design, AI UX craft and workflow optimisation

Requirements

  • 8+ years product design experience favouring complex enterprise web applications, with 1 to 3+ years in a lead capacity
  • Familiarity with AI UX concepts
  • Experience designing GenAI features beyond chat interface
  • Ability to articulate and design for trade-offs between helpfulness, safety, latency, and accuracy
  • Strong interaction design skills for complex workflows, and a proven ability to simplify without dumbing down
  • Confident research practitioner: plan and conduct workshops, synthesise insight, and influence decisions through evidence
  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management
  • Experience in regulated/high-trust domains
  • An outstanding portfolio demonstrating all of the above
  • Degree in design, psychology, business, statistics, human-computer interaction (HCI), related field or equivalent experience is a plus
