About the role
- Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable web applications using Node.js and React
- Own features end-to-end — from backend services to frontend user experiences
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Designers, and fellow engineers
- Participate in architecture and design discussions for new systems and enhancements
- Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and reliability
- Debug and resolve complex production issues in distributed systems
- Review code, provide constructive feedback, and mentor junior engineers
- Contribute to a strong engineering culture focused on quality, ownership, and continuous improvement
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in full-stack web development
- Strong hands-on experience with Node.js (Express or similar frameworks)
- Solid proficiency in React and modern frontend practices
- Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs
- Familiarity with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB
- Experience using version control systems (Git)
- Strong problem-solving skills and a calm, structured debugging mindset
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with evolving requirements
- Clear communication skills and a collaborative attitude
