About the role
- Focus on developing a prototype to enhance the ease of use of Simulation and Generative Design offerings in Fusion by leveraging internal AI tools to simplify parts and assemblies.
- Develop an understanding of different technology stacks used in Simulation and Generative Design.
- Prototype simplification workflows using internal AI tools.
- Communicate research findings to product teams and propose solutions.
- Design the system’s architecture and implement a prototype.
- Evaluate the prototype’s effectiveness and propose methods to improve it.
- Collaborate with product teams working on the Fusion Simulation and Generative Design offerings.
Requirements
- Full-time student pursuing a bachelor’s degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Software Engineering, Mathematics or equivalent at an accredited program in the United States with at least one academic term to complete post internship to be eligible.
- Familiarity with C++ and Python.
- Familiarity with Finite Element Analysis (FEA).
- Familiarity with RAG and LLMs.
- Eagerness to learn.
- MS or PhD highly preferred (preferred qualification).
- Familiarity with topology optimization and meshing techniques in the context of FEA analysis (preferred).
- Interest solving complex mechanical engineering problems (preferred).
