About the role
- Define and drive the vision for Fusion’s data services and platform capabilities
- Identify opportunities to unlock value from data across the Design-to-Make ecosystem
- Establish principles for data modeling, interoperability, governance, and scalability
- Define product requirements for data services (APIs, pipelines, storage, metadata, analytics)
- Own and prioritize the platform/data services roadmap and backlog
- Balance short-term delivery with long-term platform scalability and extensibility
- Represent internal and external developers, partners, and end-users as the voice of the customer
- Enable partners to build on Fusion through robust APIs, SDKs, and data access patterns
- Drive adoption and success of the Fusion developer ecosystem
- Use data and analytics to inform product decisions and measure platform success
- Define and track key metrics for data usage, platform adoption, and ecosystem growth
- Partner with data engineering and analytics teams to enable insights and intelligence use cases
- Collaborate with Engineering, Architecture, UX, Data Engineering, and GTM teams
- Drive alignment across teams on data standards, services, and integration patterns
- Lead integration of data services across internal products and third-party applications
- Guide the integration of new technologies (e.g., data pipelines, real-time services, AI/ML readiness)
- Ensure platform supports secure, scalable, and high-performance data access
- Influence platform decisions around APIs, eventing, storage, and data lifecycle management
- Contribute to pricing, packaging, and platform monetization strategies
- Support go-to-market efforts for platform capabilities and data services
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in Product Management in platform, SaaS, or data-centric products
- Strong understanding of data platforms, APIs, and distributed systems
- Background in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field
- Experience working with data services (e.g., APIs, ETL pipelines, data modeling, analytics platforms)
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, design, and business teams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset
- Excellent communication skills and ability to influence stakeholders globally
- Experience building or managing developer platforms or ecosystems.
- Familiarity with cloud data architectures (e.g., AWS/GCP/Azure data services)
- Exposure to real-time data systems, event-driven architectures, or AI/ML data pipelines
- Understanding of data governance, privacy, and security best practices
- Experience in CAD, manufacturing, or design-related domains is a plus.
