About the role
- Ensure end-to-end delivery of complex platform programs involving multiple teams within an assigned platform domain, from planning through commissioning and adoption
- Translate platform strategy and architectural intent into coordinated, achievable execution plans in ambiguous and evolving problem spaces
- Proactively provide program-level visibility across multiple Scrum teams by gathering insights, analyzing trends, and surfacing risks and opportunities early
- Identify, track, and proactively resolve inter-team dependencies, systemic risks, and delivery impediments, escalating with clear impact when appropriate
- Define, evolve, and enforce the program operating model for assigned initiatives, balancing standardization and team autonomy
- Establish, maintain, and reinforce clear ownership and accountability among program stakeholders by defining roles, responsibilities, and decision boundaries (e.g., RACI, stakeholder maps)
- Apply independent technical judgment to evaluate trade-offs and highlight implications for delivery, sequencing, and risk in partnership with engineering, architecture, and product management
- Synthesize fragmented information into clear narratives ready for executive presentation to enable timely, informed decision-making
- Use data, metrics, and AI-based tools to assess program health, track delivery trends, identify risks, and support evidence-based decision-making, maintaining a high level of accuracy and rigor in program artifacts and reports
- Promote adoption of platform technologies, standards, and best practices across participating teams to maximize downstream value and consistency
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related technical field
- More than 8 years of experience as a technical program manager, technical product manager, or in an equivalent role
- Proven experience independently leading platform or large-scale cross-team systems programs in an agile, fast-moving software development environment
- Strong technical aptitude and ability to engage deeply in engineering and architectural discussions and evaluate trade-offs
- Demonstrated ability to operate proactively in ambiguous environments, to seek information, anticipate risks, and drive alignment without waiting for direction
- Proven ability to influence without authority across organizational boundaries
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including at the executive level
- Experience using Jira and Confluence to manage and communicate complex, multi-team programs
