About the role
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing Platform/DevOps team
- Ensure the delivery of one or more business-critical applications
- Establish SLOs/SLIs, on-call practices, incident response procedures / RCA, and continuous improvement rituals
- Coordinate with product, design, and partner teams
- Promote GitOps and a robust CI/CD pipeline
- Implement end-to-end observability
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience managing engineering teams
- At least 7 years of total engineering experience with AWS and DevOps/Platform
- Proven track record of managing the delivery of a business application
- Deep knowledge of AWS: EC2, EKS, VPC/networking, RDS/DynamoDB, S3, API Gateway, Lambda, CloudWatch, load balancing
- Large-scale Infrastructure as Code experience
- Programming: Python and/or Java, TypeScript/Node.js
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
