About the role

  • Responsible for generating new business in the AMER Territory SMB segment
  • Manage full sales cycle from discovery to close for net new Autodesk Construction Cloud customers
  • Understand customer issues and requirements to recommend specific Autodesk products
  • Maintain advanced knowledge of Autodesk products, competitive products, and industry trends
  • Demonstrate product to customer and connect business outcomes to required capabilities
  • Negotiate contract terms with customers and complete sales order transactions
  • Utilize Salesforce.com to document customer opportunities
  • Build strong relationships for business planning with the extended Autodesk field sales teams
  • Respond to customer inquiries in a professional and prompt manner
  • Work closely with Activation/Onboarding team
  • Attend in person meetings for events (up to 20% travel)

Requirements

  • Technical product knowledge and capability to demonstrate complex Autodesk Construction Cloud solutions
  • Familiarity with sales process and certain selling methodologies i.e. MEDDPICC, Critical 6, or BANT
  • Familiarity with CRM applications (i.e., Salesforce)
  • Ability to adapt quickly and manage difficult situations while remaining upbeat and positive at all times
  • Strong work ethic: Team oriented, self-starter, high energy, and results oriented
  • Highly proficient computer skills including SFDC, email, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
