About the role
- Responsible for generating new business in the AMER Territory SMB segment
- Manage full sales cycle from discovery to close for net new Autodesk Construction Cloud customers
- Understand customer issues and requirements to recommend specific Autodesk products
- Maintain advanced knowledge of Autodesk products, competitive products, and industry trends
- Demonstrate product to customer and connect business outcomes to required capabilities
- Negotiate contract terms with customers and complete sales order transactions
- Utilize Salesforce.com to document customer opportunities
- Build strong relationships for business planning with the extended Autodesk field sales teams
- Respond to customer inquiries in a professional and prompt manner
- Work closely with Activation/Onboarding team
- Attend in person meetings for events (up to 20% travel)
Requirements
- Technical product knowledge and capability to demonstrate complex Autodesk Construction Cloud solutions
- Familiarity with sales process and certain selling methodologies i.e. MEDDPICC, Critical 6, or BANT
- Familiarity with CRM applications (i.e., Salesforce)
- Ability to adapt quickly and manage difficult situations while remaining upbeat and positive at all times
- Strong work ethic: Team oriented, self-starter, high energy, and results oriented
- Highly proficient computer skills including SFDC, email, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
