About the role

  • Help shape Aurora’s mobile app from first principles, working directly with our CTO and Founding Product Lead.
  • Design a high-frequency, multi-daily-touch product used by influential individuals.
  • Own product design end-to-end: explore problems, propose interaction models, validate ideas, and deliver polished experiences.
  • Work closely with engineering and product to define what we build, not just how it looks.
  • Report directly to the CTO with potential to grow into senior/executive position spanning design, product, and brand.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience designing digital products, with ownership over shipped consumer experiences
  • Experience working in fast-moving startup or zero-to-one environments
  • Strong end-to-end product design skills across UX, UI, interaction design, and visual polish
  • Ability to translate complex workflows into intuitive, elegant user experiences
  • Experience creating and maintaining design systems, components, and interaction patterns
  • Ensures consistency and scalability across the product
  • Proven ability to incorporate user feedback, research insights, and data into design decisions
  • Strong intuition for premium consumer expectations
  • Works closely with engineers and product managers to deliver cohesive, high-quality outcomes
  • Clearly articulates design rationale and tradeoffs to stakeholders
