Software Engineer

• Design, implement, and maintain Python modules/packages in the modelling codebase; own components over time and steward their quality and usability for other teams.
• Translate modelling methods into production‑quality code, collaborating with method owners in the Modelling team; ensure implementations are readable, tested, and traceable.
• Improve code quality and developer experience by refactoring for clarity, strengthening interfaces and simplifying implementations.
• Champion automated testing and TDD; driving the adoption of modern software engineering practices in the model development team.
• Participate in code reviews and technical design discussions
• Identifying and addressing architectural bottlenecks and opportunities to improve scalability and developer experience

Model Developer

Analyst

• Contribute to the firm by developing rigorous analysis and delivering insights that enhance clients’ decision-making
• Play an active role in all aspects of client engagement: identifying issues, forming hypotheses, conducting analysis, and synthesizing conclusions into impactful recommendations
• Support Aurora’s work across Dutch and Belgian energy markets, including M&A, market entry assessments, investment strategies, and regulatory studies
• Work in Berlin as a hub for Aurora’s European projects while focusing on clients in the Netherlands and Belgium
• Position primarily aimed at candidates with 2–4 years of relevant professional experience; exceptional recent graduates welcome

Advisory Analyst

• Based in Melbourne, Australia, contribute to the firm by developing analysis and conveying insights to enhance clients’ decision-making as they navigate the energy transition.
• Play an active role in all aspects of client engagement: helping identify issues, forming hypotheses, conducting analysis, and synthesizing conclusions into recommendations.
