About the role
- Preparation of monthly and year-end close processes and involvement in the preparation of Financial Statements for multiple entities
- Ensure compliance with local tax filings and manage communication between Aurora and our external local accountants
- Develop finance process improvements to improve efficiency of the wider team
- Involvement in Treasury process improvements to allow for more accurate and timely cash flow forecasting through improvements to the AP processes
- Support the local office teams as their primary Finance contact for any Finance related queries (AR to AP)
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts
- Collaborate with the credit control team to improve reporting on Debtors Recoverability
- Support automation and system enhancement projects
- Development of financial analysis at an entity and cost centre level to support local decision-making
Requirements
- Qualified or Part Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
- Strong excel skills to help improve reporting and analysis of monthly actuals
- Experience working on improving an ERP system
- Experience of working as part of a team collaborating towards a long-term goal
- Effective communicator with experience of working across multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience of working in subscription or advisory sectors (desirable)
- Experience with Dynamics 365 (desirable)
- Proficiency speaking at least one other European language (desirable)
